Social Media Policy
I run two businesses, Ruth Lee Education and Ruth Lee Therapy. My first business was called Star Tutors.
Counselling
Whilst it is great to receive contact, before work starts, due to confidentiality concerns, I cannot be connected with you via social media should treatment commence. This is because it puts both of our privacy and data at risk.
If you would like more information on this, and how I comply with NCPS guidelines, please get in touch.
Contact
Additionally, I would prefer it if you contacted me by text or telephone and keep this to dates/practical information. Not only is it difficult to reply quickly to multiple electronic means of communication, but I would also want your data and information to be kept safe. Email for example, can be hacked into.
Documents: should there be a need to communicate then a password protected Word document or Whatsapp are preferred methods of contact and not Google Documents/email links.
I apologise in advance if this is frustrating, however it is really important that I protect your information to the best of my ability. I do hope that this makes sense to you and no offence is taken.
